El Meson Bistro is a "Spanish-Caribbean bistro" that features a lunch time buffet (11am-2pm M-F). Its a popular neighborhood restaurant featuring authentic Caribbean-style food (excellent paella, many vegetarian options).A "Meson" is a country Spanish restaurant, with rustic decor and serving up hearty foods and wines, and that's exactly with El Meson specializes in. El Meson is small, intimate, and dim lit, with private booths, complimented by great wine selections and friendly service. Its not open super late, but totally worth the visit for dinner and evening dining with an excellent wine list. In summer, one of the best things ever is to sit on the small sidewalk patio and sip sangria during happy hour!
